Healthy Hearing is a hearing screening program developed to promote optimal audiological health among Special Olympics athletes. The program provides comprehensive hearing evaluations aimed at identifying potential hearing loss or related conditions that may otherwise go undetected. In addition to screenings, Healthy Hearing educates athletes, families, and caregivers about the importance of regular hearing assessments, proper ear care, and access to appropriate follow-up services. By addressing hearing health, the program helps to enhance athletes’ ability to communicate effectively, participate fully in daily activities, and achieve their greatest potential both in sports and in life.
