Volunteer Responsibilities: 

Assist with skills and scrimmages portion of event May include setting up equipment, running specific skills stations, monitoring the field of play Serve as a time/scorekeeper or supporting other sports related functions  Come out and have fun.

Responsibilities: 

The ultimate "teamwork" position - many things need to be set up prior to competition, which requires many working hands. Join the team and enjoy coffee and donuts upon arrival! Assist in the set up of the venue prior to competition. Set up includes: EZ ups, throwing tablecloths, Awards stages, setting up competition equipment, and more. There is a role for everyone!

QUALIFICATIONS: Morning person! Heavy lifting may be required.

REPORTS TO: Event Director and Track and Field Events Managers

 

Help us wrap up the Spring Games event! As an Event Breakdown Volunteer, you'll be part of the team that ensures everything is organized, packed up, and ready for delivery to storage.

Assisting with the breakdown and clean-up of the event.Walking and lifting equipment as neededWorking together to keep things organized and efficient Bring positive energy, have fun, enjoy your time, and celebrate the athlete's accomplishments!

This role is perfect for those who like being hands-on and making a big impact behind the scenes. Your help ensures our events end as smoothly as possible!

Volunteer Responsibilities: 

Oversee all competition and volunteers on a designated court. Oversee Awards Ceremony following competition.

Assist with lunch by distributing meals to athletes and volunteers Assist with package meals to be distributing to athletes and volunteers.  Come out and have fun!

Responsible for organizing, sorting, recording and distributing awards. Assist with announcing awards for teams and athletes. Come out and have fun!

Announce the days events including Opening Ceremony and Basketball announcements.  Come out and have fun!

Responsibilities:

Assist Bocce Official in monitoring competition.

QUALIFICATIONS: Position requires standing for long periods of time. Must be willing to work in heat, sun or other weather conditions. 

REPORTS TO: Bocce Official on assigned court.

Responsibilities:

Keep record of scores on designated court as reported by Bocce Official. Work with Bocce Competition Director to taly scores at end of competition.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Organized. People person. Attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Schedules competition in collaboration with SOSC Sports Manager Supervises all venue volunteers. Supervises all competition, disputes, awards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Special Olympics Bocce Rules of Competition. Ability to manage volunteers.

REPORTS TO: Event Director and SOSC Sports Staff
