Key Responsibilities
- Assist the graphic designer in producing print, and web projects
- Assist in designing ads for various publications
- Assist in designing programs for various Special Olympics Chapter events
- File organization & Image Research
- Graphic design prep work
- Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects
- Miscellaneous tasks as they arise or as specific interests develop
Training & Support
- Direct supervision from Senior Manager, Graphic Design, with weekly meetings and goal setting
- Orientation of SOSC history and protocols
Commitment & Work Site
- Minimum four month commitment.
- 10-15 hours/week, remote work with occasional requirement to be in office [1600 Forbes Way, Suite 200, Long Beach CA 90810].
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High proficiency in Adobe creative suite, including Illustrator and Indesign
- Solid understanding or web design standards, as well as pre-press and print production
- Must complete a volunteer application, required training, and background check
- Must have access to own computer for remote work
