Description

Help Inspire the Next Generation of Athletes!

Special Olympics Southern California is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to support a new Young Athletes program in Torrance.

Young Athletes is an inclusive sport and play program designed for children ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities, helping them develop foundational skills including fitness, strength, balance, coordination, body awareness, adaptive skills, and visual tracking while building confidence, social connections, and a lifelong love of physical activity.

As a Young Athletes Team Volunteer, you will work alongside the Head Coach and Coaches to create a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment where every child can succeed. Team Volunteers assist with activities, participant engagement, equipment setup, and family support throughout the program while helping ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all participants.
