As a Merchandise Assistant, you play a key role in creating a welcoming and organized shopping experience for guests. This position supports the setup, operation, and breakdown of the merchandise boutique, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and customers receive excellent service. Your efforts enhance the overall event experience and contribute to SOSC Athletes' fundraising success. 

Volunteer Responsibilities: 

Assist in the setup and organization of the boutique, ensuring displays are neat and visually appealing.  Provide excellent customer service by supporting guests with merchandise selection and purchases, including answering questions and communicating with a supervisor when needed.Help with the breakdown and packing of the merchandise boutique at the end of the event, maintaining proper inventory handling. 

As a Photographer for Floorball Championship, help capture the unforgettable moments of the event! From the excitement of the opening ceremony to the energy of the competitions, capture the joy of fans in the stands as they cheer on our athletes!

Capture key moments during the event, including Opening Ceremony, sponsor activations, Healthy Athletes, volunteers, fans in the stands, and sports competitions. Calling all social media enthusiasts! Become an official content creator for the 2026 Floorball Championship and help raise the energy by capturing fun, share-worthy moments for SOSC's social media. You’ll snap photos, film videos, and even do on-the-spot interviews with athletes and fans. Get creative and encourage attendees to share their experience online too. If you're comfortable interacting with people and know your way around social media, this is your chance to shine!

Our Volunteer Check-In volunteers enjoy interacting with people in a fast-paced environment. They should be comfortable using basic technology for check-in processes and have strong communication skills to provide clear directions. A friendly, approachable demeanor and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. Reliability and flexibility to assist in other areas, such as food services, merchandise, scorekeeping, etc., when needed, make this volunteer a perfect fit.

Help keep our athletes, coaches, and volunteers fueled throughout the event! As a Food & Beverage Volunteer, you'll ensure smooth distribution and maintain a welcoming environment in designated areas.

Assisting with Food and beverage distribution areas within venue Supporting set-up, preparation, inventory management and restocking Providing a friendly, professional service to all participants Keeping food and beverage area neat, clean, and organized

This role is perfect for volunteers who enjoy working in a team and creating a positive experience for everyone at the event!

Be a part of the action and help athletes shine! As a Competition Assistant, you'll support the flow of the event and ensure athletes have a great experience on the field of play.

Volunteer Responsibilities: 

Assisting athletes in and out of the field of play during competition. Helping with timing or scorekeeping as needed Ensuring the correct athlete is in the designated area for their event. Communicating with the Field of Play Manager via radio throughout the day Bringing positive energy, have fun, enjoy your time, and cheer on the athletes!

This role is ideal for a volunteer who enjoys being close to the competition and working as part of a team to keep things running smoothly. We couldn't do this without our incredible volunteers!
