2026 Greater LA South Gate Basketball Competition| April 18th
Reach for the Gold! Special Olympics Southern California athletes from Southeast Los Angeles and surrounding areas will compete in Basketball at the 2026 Greater LA Basketball Competition in South Gate.
Please note:
The minimum age to volunteer is 14 years old
Each person is required to have their own email address to register
All volunteer shifts are assigned on a first come, first serve basis

Set up Delegation Check-In
Oversee Delegation Check-In for all teams
Hand out team packets and record scratches/ record number of players in attendance

Help coordinate athletes, spectators, and speakers during Opening Ceremonies.
Volunteers will be standing and/or moving for most of their shift
